About Book Club

What?

Eco-Friendly Design

Free, webinar-style classroom author visits by bestselling authors. Three for teens (Grades 7-12) and three for tweens (Grades 4-6) each school year. These will consist of 45-minute virtual author visits, including Q&A with pre-submitted questions by schools across the country. Pre-activities for encouraging the reading of the book will be offered.

In keeping with Operation Literacy’s mission to promote literacy for children and teens with an emphasis in underserved populations, and align with USLA’s goal to to provide professional support, leadership and enrichment for library media educators and associates, we present this program to embed love of literature, empower confident readers, and build cultures of literacy in our communities.

Final dates TBA, in September, November, and February 2024-2025 (All Book Clubs will be recorded for later viewing)

Who?

Any interested students and educators from public, charter, private, or home schools across the country.
